Founded in 1926 under the auspices of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, Concordia University Texas is a private institution of liberal arts and sciences that offers numerous undergraduate and graduate degrees for traditional and non-traditional students.
Originally started as a high school, Concordia quickly grew into a junior college in 1951, a four year college in 1980 and finally a full university in 1995. Thanks to the commitment and education of a dedicated faculty, Concordia has stood by its mission of being an institution recognized for integrity, academic excellence, and Lutheran ethos.
